LAPLACE Renewable Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2016 focusing on R&D and manufacturing of high-end processing equipment in the field of PV industry. Laplace' s main products cover heat-treatment systems (including boron diffusion, phosphorus diffusion, oxidation and annealing), LPCVD, PECVD, ALD, characterization tools and supporting automation systems. Laplace is headquartered in Shenzhen, China., with subsidiaries in Wuxi, Taizhou, Guangzhou, and Xi'an, etc. The company has more than 3700 full time employees to provide solutions of advanced technologies, products and technical support to our customers.

2008~2012, Dr. Lin participated in the establishment of the Solar Energy Institute of Singapore, responsible for the R&D of high efficiency solar cell technology.
2012~2015, Dr. Lin charged of the Cell R&D Department (China) at Hanwha Q-cells, responsible for the solar cell technology and process development, as well as the improvement of yield and quality.
2015~2016, Dr. Lin worked in Shanghai Aerospace Automobile Electromechanical Co.,Ltd., presided over the R&D Center (R&D of silicon wafer, cell, module, product management and technical support), which has four subsidiaries
n 2016, Dr. Lin founded LAPLACE. Focusing on core process solutions in PV fields, he led the team to overcome the bottleneck of N-type cell development, and led the development of low-pressure diffusion furnace, LPCVD system and other high-end manufacturing equipment, and made a major breakthrough in the field of new generation of high-efficiency photovoltaic cell equipment.
